Jason, I was bored this morning so I messed around with Unit 1. Here is a quick render. I kinda went a little Craftsman on ya with this unit. I feel like stained moldings scream 1980's so I painted them white and added hardwood floors throughout. I feel that it made it feel more open. What do you think?

Lol I see that Joey got to it first. LOL

CKD, This has happened to me many many times... If you click in the area of the sheet where the pdf was, it's outline is there, just not the pdf, then you can re-link it. I save everything to my desktop and then reorganize it into folders later and I always end up with the same results! Good Luck!

I used to get ahead of myself when building my models and would skip the roof. Always had light bleeding. Now the minute I have the rooms drawn, I throw a roof on that puppy, and that always seems to "cure" my problem.

Perry!?! Why don't you do more videos? LOL

Happens to me all the time. I do the same thing Perry does. Just drag a new one in it's place. (Glad I'm not the only one this was happening too! Thought I was going crazy )

If you attach the plan, I'm sure we can get this figured out in no time. Never had window or door casings disappear unless I accidentally turned them off in the specification dialogue box. I'm stumped at this point.

Buzsaw204, that looks like an easy fix, just post the plan and I guarantee you'll have it answered by lunch!... Or whatever time it is where you are...LOL

It would be nice to draw a cad line and convert it to a light. Like a rope light. It would work great for tray ceilings!
-
Perfect that worked wonderfully. Thank you Michael!

Try it now.

oops, hold on...

What am I missing here? Why isn't the sink flush with the bottom of the counter top? I don't normally have this problem.

Until I reached Scott's post I thought my computer had messed up! LOL

I email my plans to my boss and clients daily. I just send the plan to layout, then click print, then it gives you the option to "save as PDF" Then send that sucker on over.

I honestly didn't see anything rude on this thread. It wasn't made clear what you had posted. So please forgive us for drawing conclusions. For future reference maybe a description would be best to clear up confusion. Have a great evening.

Archijef2000, I don't get it either. however, every time I see your profile pic, I get a kick out of it! Bravo! LOL

Brinkbart, I haven't used them yet, but I will let you know on here or in a personal message how they turn out. Been a little busy finishing up with my current client. Have a great day!

I know this sounds silly, but I place a soffit into the plan and place the material I want to copy on it, them I save it to the library and voilà.

Thank you for giving it a try. feel free to send it my way. Thank you!

Feel free to adjust the roof pitch on the back of the house to clear windows. We can play with ceiling heights in the closet to get the look, whatever you feel would work better. I was going to lower it to 8'. I know this sounds horrible, but i have no idea what he is doing with the roof framing system. My boss is Amish and they do everything they can by hand. So if it's to much for a team of 6-8 to handle, they won't do it. Thank you guys!

The garage is supposed to be a hip. No gable. I have no Idea why he drew it that way. You can make the middle bedroom's (the one between the towers) ceiling 10' to get that effect, of you could drop the front bedrooms (towers) to 8'. They do want the funky roofs in the back. The want vaulted hearth and breakfast nooks.
