  5. I Purchased back around 2002 if I recall.... a couple HP 500C's. One is on it's way out and may be in the market for a new plotter to take it's place. Just curious to see what others are using these days...I do mostly Arch C & D size so C size printer is fine, I'm okay with CMYK but contemplating upping to more than just CMYK inks, I'm also a photographer and do my own prints but on a smaller Epson 3880. A couple I 'm looking at is the Epson 6000 and the HP-T120, HP Design jet T520, Canon image Prograph iPF770 to mention a few, any suggestions of others for me to take look at would be appreciated. Thanks, Doug

  8. I have my layers set the way I want and need them to be... color, line type, weight, and up front...when you select the layer eye dropper tool it should pick all that up and deposit/transfer those setting to the newly selected line....it doesn't...and I could swear it used to. I'll try and post a couple examples tomorrow, for now I have an appointment... thanks guys. I'll get back to you.
  9. SOOOO.... in the past I could take the layer eye dropper tool, select a line, then with the Layer Painter Tool paint a line and it would change to the appropriate layer and carry over Color, line type. weight, move to front... all in one click. Now all it's doing is moving it to the appropriate layer.... but then I have to open that particular line dialog (that I just moved to new layer) and make all the changes, Color, line type, weight etc...what gives..... Thanks for any insight Doug
  10. I have tried just about everything on this one,,,I need to build a box to conceal a waste line in a basement job. There isn't room behind the waste to run the common wall down. So I need to do similar to whats in the attached snapshot, Question.... How do I raise the lower plate of the main wall to sit on the box, show correctly in 3D, and have the lower box frame correctly? I've tried a 16" railing wall with a flat roof for the box which came the closest but still no raising of plate on the main wall. I know I can create different floor levels to do this but there must be an easier way. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks, Doug
  11. I'll usually check certain things by means of interior wall Elevation views, then deleting them, Now that the plan is done and need to do (interior) wall elevations for real this time. the numbering is starting in the E-30's. I know I fixed this several times before (setting it back starting at E-1 ect..) just by exiting the plan file with no elevation present and reopen, doens't seem to be working this time. Did a search and found nothing. Any help appreciated. Doug
  12. Not in my locker either, IMO....I think if you haven't updated your SSA or are about to, (mine is due for renewal in 22 days) they may be holding back to see of we/I upsate SSA. Just spoke to Tech Support.....no upgrade/update unless I spend yet another $445.00. Another year of this and we're up to the cost of Revit.
