As a new user of Chief Architect I have a question about dimensioning elevations. I've used Revit before and liked how it automatically did the level dimensions in the elevations (Height of first floor, second floor, etc). That is all I want for dimensions in the elevations at this stage but when I click Auto Elevation Dimensions every thing that can be dimensioned is dimensioned. Is there an automatic way to callout the floor level heights or will I have to manually add them? Thanks

What I mean by the 1.5 story garage is there is a room over the garage, the room has 4' kneewalls with the roof starting on the kneewalls. The ceiling in this room would be at 9' so that there would slope from the kneewal until they reach 9' then be flat in the center. Does that make sense?

Hello all, I am working on a home that is full two stories and an attached 1.5 story garage. I am new to Chief Architect and am having a hard time figuring out what to do. I've seen a few videos and online tutorials but they just deal with a home that is 1.5 story. When I follow these my project ends up being entirely 1.5 story. How would I go about drawing this project (part full story and part 1.5 story)? Probably is quite straight forward but just can't wrap my head around it. Thanks for any help...

I am looking at Chief Architect. I see that we can edit the wall types for what we need for each project. Is there a way to create a log wall so I can do log home plans? Thanks.
