  3. here is a pic of where to download a mac if you go that way, and you can have different versions on different machines, just can only use one at a time if you have only one licpost-439-0-94288800-1458139862_thumb.jpg

  4. Since I only had pc not sure about what is better you might get different opinions, as far as the ssa you just have to download the mac version of the program of the program and not the windows version, there is a ratio button for each program and you can do either on the type of machine you have

  5. I get the message the program is already running when trying to open X7 on my laptop, get this message only on laptop doesn't happen on my main computer, so I have to either hold down the ctr key and select it or restart windows and then open X7, don't know why this happens since all my work is done in X8 and the only time I open X7 is for someone wanting me to help them with there plan that doesn't have the newer version

  6. You might want to build a second floor and set your ceiling height to 1 1/2" this way the rafters would sit on top of the second floor jst and on an 1 1/2" plate, or if you want them to sit on a knee wall make the second floor clg the height of the knee wall you want the rafters to sit on, no ignore second floor

  7. Here's a quick crappy video going over the basic process...

Michael is there anyway to put all the new icons under one icon instead of having them all in a row, exp. if they were under one icon like it shows with the walls or a drop down menu you would see all them under that one icon and not have a bunch in the desktop, I hope I explained it correctly, also when adding to the lib I been asking Chief to let us have a main lib selected lets say Andersen and when we select a window that we make and give it all its components and sizes that it would save to the file but haven't gotten that yet, would be great when making our own lib with the manuf that we want not having to having to move each one each time it is sent to the lib
