Like Lew said just guessing but is your roof covering those walls that is what the picture looks like
-
When you open your layout if you have it setup already as soon as you open it before sending anything to the layout sheet toggle them off and they shouldn't show up on that one, if you want to have 2 different ones do what solver says
-
I run into that and I always just go up and drag that wall like you did
-
Good information Michael thank you
-
I can go through all the steps but doesn't import anything that I can see
-
Joe I think you just Challenged Scott on that one
-
haven't seen that on my end
-
Graeme I send everything to my layout sheets the print to Chief's pdf file then to my plotter or printer which ever I want them to go
-
No problems on this end printing on my plotter 24 x 36 and regular printer 11x17
-
I would do this with the roof tool or select the wall over the door and call it a gable wall and set the pitch you should get it, might have to adjust the height of the ridge, posting the plan would get more help so we can see it
-
Thanks Joe I will let him know, Michael and Joe if this doesn't work for him I will let you guys know might need one of you to make a macro if that is possible
-
Is there a way to change inches to feet in the door schedule.
Thank you
-
glad it worked out for you
-
Sal in your layout sheet go to tools, layout, reference plan files, open that up and you will see a browes button go to the file you want to re-link and all should be good, I do it all the time when I change the dates on the plans I am working on
-
I went with the ASUS ROG g751jy 17" notebook and haven't regretted it from Amazon
-
I had to flip one of my finished plans and have the latest X9 version and I had trouble with some of the electrical items not being correct and had to fix them not all of them but about 1/3 of them
-
Here it is the sq. ft. of the house itself doesn't matter if it is open below, stairwell opening or not
-
-
Rob I know it is a pain but could you make 3 layout boxes with the second one having the heading for the third layout box
-
no problems here
-
might get faster answer if you post the plan to review
-
Sherry do what Joe said he is the macro man, and thank you Joe one more lesson you have taught me on macro's, I had to do it to the ones I was working on
-
Sherry I had the same problem and I just went into my folder in x8 opened my default plan, opened text macro management from there selected the marco's I wanted hit export and exported them to a folder where I knew they were, went to x9 opened text macro management and just imported them into my default plan.

in General Q & A

I have to agree on electrical connections in Chief they were stable in the release when they first came out
