  1. I am attempting to create a loft in a pool house and am wondering why the floor keeps coming out with these exposed framing sections. Am I using the wrong tool for this? I created a second story, used a room divider then adjusted the opposite room to "Open Below". I also found that soffits, shelves and moldings dont cross over these places where the room dividers are and it has me puzzled. Is there a setting I have missed or am I going about creating this wrong?
  2. Has anyone had issues changing exterior wall materials? I am confused as to why some of my walls will not change from the default blue siding when adjacent and connecting walls have no issues.
  3. I am having an issue with the Library Browser where even when the top left Icon and in the view tab icon is show with a check mark to indicate being open but there is no sign of the Library Browser actually popping up on my screen or right sidebar, next to the Project Browser, as I have used it before. Has anyone else had this issue? Am I missing a setting that would hide the Library Browser or does this sound like a glitch/issue?
  4. Was wondering how when I change in layout the drawing sheet in the print settings from 1/2" scale to 1/4" scale, how do I also change the reference grid to reflect that as well.
  5. Wow such a simple fix. Thank You.
  6. Please and thank you! I have no idea why the framing pieces are coming out like this on all the lists I've generated.
  7. And how do I delete the ML? Or where is it that I locate it?
  8. Made a copy of the default list and switched it to buy list, but still same issue.
  9. This is where they show on the plan. At least for the ceiling.
  10. Trying to figure out how the material list works and generates its numbers, Am a student and still relatively new at chief. Below is a project have been working on and this is the first time I have been asked to do a full material list. Have watched all the tutorials on it but cannot seem to find out why its giving such long 2x6 boards. The plan is attached below to look at. Litchtman Chief plan 1-23-19.plan
  11. Hi all still fairly new to chief architect and was wondering if there was a way to specify where the crown molding may end on the soffit and return back into the wall. Also rather then have the chair rail stepped (see photo below), I would like it to slope downward so that it meets with the chair rail below. Also please feel free to provide perhaps an easier method to working with molding if an easier method exists. Thanks!
  12. Not finding where this niche tool may be.
