  3. Hi Here is a photo of my clients house.- back split with 2 different roof lines . I'm creating a new exterior façade plus add - ons but running into trouble with current roof . I viewed the video--- chose 12 pitch and ignore 2nd floor for left side but not sure how to do right side .. can I do a roof break and lower the line for the right side.

  6. thank you very much. Im not at all familiar with symbols and how they work or how to create the necessary dwg etc files for importing a door .. so maybe your second suggestion is an easier way to approach my problem...

  8. CA Premier x 11 I think I found what I was looking for under Rendering - technique options..it seems the standard view is brighter and crisper tan the PB.. I'm thinking this should not be the case or is rendering strictly a personal matter of preference.. Am I missing a link somewhere?? Thanks Levina
  9. Hi When I render PB the image always looks darker than in the standard view and in ray trace . When I look at the online videos for assistance there is mention of BLOOM and IMAGE .( Changing intensity, contrast etc).. I do not these options on my tool bars , Are these options only available in RAY TRACE Thanks Levina
  10. Hi I have my camera view active but wen I activate PERSPECTIVE FULL OVERVIEW my screen is black.. I move my cursor all over the screen plus use the zoom tools but it doesn't show up only a blank screen any suggestions?? thanks

  14. Hi I have erected a structure but it is facing in the wrong direction. Do I have to redo or can I somehow copy it and place it in the right direction?? North vs south

  16. HI I am trying to change my wall width (which is no problem) but I loose the some of the wall layers - studs do not move see attached.. is there a way I can do this without manually making adjustments to every stud Thanks in advance
  17. WOW thank you. !! I did it in my plan.. went to wall types then define - deleted interior gyproc etc.....not sure about how to see roof trusses.YES I can --- see the roof trusses inside my buildings.. Thank your sooooooo much!!!!.
  18. Under wall types I went to Define and deleted the drywall see image I went to active display options and checked all display framing see image but still cant see framing on camera view

  20. Thank you..I've been at this for over 2 hours..I tried changes to preferences under walls .. opened walls and to change layers.. went to Build Framing.. I'm at a loss.. something so simple as building 4 cabins on a plot of land close to water with a rustic interior and can't seem to get it... frustrated now --- cant seem to get it... You make it sound so simple and it obviously is.. ill keep trying
  21. H I am trying to create a rustic cabin .. I need to show the interior finish with open roof trusses and studded walls - No gyproc and no insulation. photo sample attached ... trying to recreate a larger scale. How do I go about this. is it in the defaults or preferences? Thanks
  22. ok I did what you said but my corner is not as smooth as yours...mine still has a middle seam. I tried using the corner cabinet but it was flat iron look
