I have a client that has a very specific piece of art (a print that is 6' x 3.5') that we are desigining into the house. I have a 2D image of it and I can make it show up in 2d elevations as such, but how do i make it show up in a 3D view? Thanks,

What does this mean and how do i fix it? Why is it that the first truss - the one on the end wall comes in correctly but when copied for the rest of the roof, it doesn't come in correctly. just the end trusses show up correctly. Its on a gable roof. Thanks,

How do I get my callouts to rotate?
DenisonDrywall replied to DenisonDrywall's topic in General Q & A
I had tried that - unchecking the "rotate with plan" and it didn't work. After reading your post, I decided to try it again. Now they are rotating with the plan...i don't get it. Must be the day???? LOL Thanks- -
How do I get my callouts to rotate?
DenisonDrywall replied to DenisonDrywall's topic in General Q & A
they told me that to resolve the problem i would have to just draw the plan rotated. Then I asked about the "rotate text with plan" button and this is what i got in response: That option is there for custom text styles. What you'd have to do is rotate the plan how you'd want it to show on layout and set up all the callouts to use a custom text style. From there you'd want to make sure the text is oriented the way you want it and then turn off the Rotate with Plan then rotate the plan back to how you originally had it. The text should keep this new orientation, which could be used on the layout. -

Roof auto generated a bunch of useless walls
DenisonDrywall replied to fletcher's topic in General Q & A
Whenever i draw in a frost proof stoop, it creates a room above and then all these attic walls come in and create problems. so if I'm doing something wrong when I create a frost proof stoop, please let me know. It drives me crazy to have these wall show up where i don't want them. then if you delete them, they show up as a regular wall and they never go away. -

KBIRD1 - Thank you for this! this happens to me all the time and its enough to drive me insane! i did as you suggested in the default settings (im using x11) and so far so good. Jennifer -

I made interior room elevations using the room elevation tool. However, only part of my wall is showing. If i make a room elevation from the other side, it shows up. Why is it now showing up here? thanks- Jennifer Premier X11

I am in the process of switching over to a new computer. I exported my library catalog. and now when I import them into the library on the new computer, they automatically go into the "User Catalog". Is there a way to move them to a different folder in the library? For example, I want to put them in the "Bonus Catalog" folder. There is a cut option but not a paste option when i right click. Thanks-
-
yes that worked. thank you. i did have to click to not have an apron.

yes, the picture is EIFS w/ no window trim. I am doing siding w/ window trim and was hoping to not have to "make it" myself but i guess that is what i need to do. Thanks,
-
How do i get exterior window trim to be on 3 sides of the window (sides and top not bottom)? so the stone can be right along the bottom of the window like in this image. thanks,

I've been sending my room elevations to my layout page. The cmu walls/rooms have a wall covering on them of ceramic tile. they all have been showing up fine on the layout and now with the last one i sent, the cmu lines show up behind the wall covering/ct lines. i can't find a layer that is turned on that shouldn't be. unless i'm missing something. i closed and restarted the program and files. what is going wrong? what am i doing wrong? thanks, Jennifer Chief X11
