  1. I just got a new computer and downloaded x13. When I open multiple views, it shows blanks. For instance, if I'm in 2D and then cut an elevation and also open camera view, when I toggle back to the 2D elevation, it's blank? Trying to figure out if this is a setting or something else? Any help is appreciated!
  2. And this just adds to my frustration. Here are the screen shots of the system and also, the GPU status from within X 13.
  3. As to where I found the shader info. See attached.
  4. Thanks Joe. I did specify that it should use that GPU. Weird. I've opened up a ticket so hopefully, I can get an answer,
  5. Hello I've read all the suggestions and I believe my card is well within the minimum requirements. But I'm still getting the card not meeting the requirements and no 3d modelling. i7 4790-k 32 GB ram SSD drive Nvidia Quadro K5000 4 GB latest driver 472.12 installed. When I start CA X13 I get the your graphic card doesn't meet the requirements. I checked both the directx which is version 12 and the shader which is 6.5 So not sure why I would get this error. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  8. This is my first shot at the mylumion.com, The potential in this is very promising. http://view.mylumion.com/?p=3u7repo8 Created in chief x7 and imported to chief 5.7 pro Rendering time : 12min
  9. I like the direction you are going (love the island) what software did you render the video on?
  10. Thank you, I'm about to finish the next project and will be expanding a little more time on the presentation... Hopefully it will flow better and please a wider audience
  11. It did, but would be even better if Lumion had multiple GPU support
  12. Good Morning Dennis, what I mean by executed and modeled in chief is that: I have created the construction sets on chief and all the details (except for the plants) on Chief as well (lots of polyline solids, lol). I have used the free version as well and was mesmerized by the quality and simplicity of Lumion, the 5.3 Pro is amazing IMHO. Jintu, it took 7.5 hours @ 1080 5 stars. And Jon I will get the book and would really appreciate your input if possible. IE (too long, boring angles???)

  21. Hello All, I have noticed that X7 have addressed the texturing issue for Collada files, it works perfectly now, thank you...
  22. Good Morning, I am getting crashes on start up chief x6, though I think it may be related to the cloud auto-upload feature that I'm using...
  23. They were both created in chief architect, the difference is that: the example was exported from chief to a collada file and imported in to lumion. The sunny morning one, was exported from chief to a collada file, imported to sketchup (the .dae file from chief), exported from sketchup as a collada file also, then imported in lumion. Just to specify the process we have to go through...
  24. I have attached two example files, the example one: exporting directly from X6 and the the front perspective, exporting to sketch up first then exporting the .dae file again from sketch up. It's nothing related with the rendering technique, and the textures are automatically imported, when importing a collada file in Lumion...
