mlgallant
Does anyone know if a compatible file can be exported from HSBCAD/AutoDesk that can be imported into Chief X8 to create 3D renderings? I have a log home builder client who would like 3D renderings of their floor plans. Thanks
Alaskan_Son
They should be able to export a DWG, a 3D DWG, 3DS, etc. The bigger problem though is material definitions. You would probably need to run it through a separate program (like Sketchup maybe) in order to assign materials to the various surfaces.
KevinWaldron
Better served in my humble opinion using another program. Something like Simlab Composer Pro .... it would be much faster and easier and would look more realistic. kevin
