shanecarman
Hello, I recently purchased a new desktop with Windows. The computer is much faster and I custom designed it for renderings. Currently, all of my plans and Chief Architect files are on the MAC. Is there a way to move the files over to the Windows PC without losing plans, data, content, etc? Thank you! Alaskan_Son
I don't know why you couldn't just copy to a thumb drive and move to new rig.

I am pretty sure I cannot due to one computer being mac and the other being Windows. Doesn't the thumb drive have to be reformatted?

I do not think the thumb drive needs to be reformatted. If so, set up a drop box folder, put the files in there and then you can access the files from either computer. I have done it that way for years. Try the thumb drive first, the worst thing that could happen is a cataclysmic event.
