Adding Roof Purlins To Pole Barn. Get Them To Stay Normal To Roof Plane?

I am doing a flush purlin design where each purlin will sit in a hanger on the sides of the trusses and sit flush with the top of the trusses.  When I generate any framing member, they want to locate vertically.  Which function should I be using to allow an angle on the frame members?  or is there a better way to do this?
