COLONIAL-CHIEF Posted October 20, 2015 Share Posted October 20, 2015 I started designing a 2 story house w/ a one story detached garage connected by a breezeway. Now the client would like to add a 2nd story to the garage. Is there a simple way to do this w/o deleting the 2nd floor of the main house and re-drawing it? Solution DavidJPotter Posted October 20, 2015 Solution Share Posted October 20, 2015 You manually draw the walls of the second floor over the garage, then manually do the new garage roofs or I suppose you could just autogenerate them. I didn't think about it, but I guess it did not work originally because I had already drawn my roof over the 1 story garage. I deleted the roof and then was able to manually draw the walls. Thanks!
