RobertGHess
I have been thru a number of videos and I can not find anything about rooms that have had walls removed(demo. layer turned off) but will not create a whole room after the walls are removed. I'm sure there is a simple answer, but I have spent literally hours trying to fix, rectify, erase, whatever to create a room from where I have demolished/removed existing walls. Any help would be appreciated. Robert
country
Use room dividers or invisible walls.
DianneDSC
Select the demo wall, open the dbx, set wall as non-room defining.
tommy1
It sounds like you're going to do an existing/demo plan and the proposed plan in the same file. I personally don't advocate doing it this way. In a very simple model, you might be able to by doing this, but in a real complicated plan, you're bound to have troubles eventually. Just my opinion.
