Context
Hi, I'm new to Chief Architect. I'm an interior designer and trying to get a sloped ceiling in the upstairs closet but it's following the roof line instead. I used the ceiling plane tool. chiefhandle
Using the ceiling plane tool is the correct approach ... you just need to choose the slope, as you would when setting the slope on a roof section. There's a possibility you have another glitch or two in your plan. If you send it to me with a explanation of what you want to achieve, I'll hava look around a perhaps I can solve it for you. Kbird1
Since you are new , just want to make sure you are aware of the Knowledge Base (KB) , lots of good tutorials here http://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/database.html I would advise getting the Reference Manual PDF linked on the Help Menu too , I usually find it easier to use than the online help but in this case it is handy , select the custom ceiling plane and Open it's DBX (dialog box) , and in the bottom right hand corner click on the help button and it will open to the ceiling plane Specification Help Items. It sounds to me though , that you drew it in the wrong direction , the tick mark on the 1st line seen is pointing up. M
