Walleye
Quick question. Using Chief Architect x7 and I set the ceiling height for rooms then build the roof. Next, I need to change height of different roofs just to see what looks best. If I go into the different rooms and change the ceiling height, It doesn't seem to update the roof and raise or lower it. Do I need to re draw the roof planes each time I change the ceiling height?
Solution DRAWZILLA Posted May 27, 2015 Solution Share Posted May 27, 2015 Roof will not update in that situation unless you have auto roof turned on. Sometimes you have to use the " transform -replicate" tool to do it manually in the "z" direction.

michaelgia
Wouldn't you simply enter the value you want in the "raise off plate" section in the roof dialog box? The same as doing cantilever trusses? Or am I not understanding the question?...
