Impressive AI 3d breakout

I was thunderstruck when my client presented me with a 3d interactive, explodedable model of the custom bunkbeds I designed for him.  He managed to find several small items that would only have been caught by the GC upon install.  I was amazed at how well Claude did in fleshing out the model, then adding all of these options for viewing, section cutting and exploding.  Amazing.  He did say it took him 90 minutes after typing in this prompt:

"I want to build a real interactive 3D diagram that has layers and shows how you go fro the plywood to putting on the cabinet panels so that the builder can move it around and see how to build the bunk bed, first from the plywood and then by layering in the panels and cabinet from the cabinet company. I have all the dimensions of everything in these files, one from the architect (Dance_bunk plan.pdf) and the other PDF from the cabinet company. The dimensions should show up on the cad file. This should be a shareable file. I've also attachd the trundle bed frame that will slide underneath. We should first analyze and make sure everything will work, and then build the 3D file I can share with others to review and reconcile any things we still need to konw. I'm going to have a 6 inch memory foam mattress."

Some more back and forth, and this was the result. I gave him the wood framing portion and he did the rest.

Wow

AI can be an extremely powerful tool. As I looked at the framing, I realized, first of all, it’s a four-person bunk bed, so it’s going to need plywood shearing because if it’s kids, it’s going to rock around as they all wrestle and fight and play.

I subscribe to Claude, so I’m going to play around with this on the next smaller project I do. Having interactive models to share with clients or builders is next level.
