Corner Board Issue

Hello all!

 

With the great addition of the 3d cladding, I'm having a minor issue with my corner boards. I set them as recessed to sheathing layer, as I'm using a board and batten wall and don't want the corner boards floating 3/4" off the wall surface. The boards are shown as cutting into the poche walls, which is expected and fine as long as I can turn them black to match. But for some reason I can't - included screenshot shows how they still show up when I change the layer color to solid black. Any ideas?
