BackCountry
Hello, opened up a file today to work on it and it has gone the way of the loon. Totally weird pixelation, stripes etc. As I rotate around the room it sometimes disappears in some shots but then comes back. Using Standard Camera View and others and its the same (except Glass House, or Hand Drawn Lines. Also there is a goofy post that appeared in the drawing and goes up to the heavens and has a line going out sideways that i can't select or layer or anything to delete. Running a new MacBook Pro with serious capability and graphics card X17 Premier Our workflow at our office is to store files on a Network Attached Storage Device so myself and others can access the files. Wondering if the NAS is corrupting the files?
PitMan71
Is it just this plan. Or are all plans behaving like this?
BackCountry
Shane, I cannot recreate the issue in other plans.
ChiefTylerL
@BackCountryBased off of your screenshots I think you may be very far from the origin (0,0) which can cause strange behavior in the 3D camera views. My recommendation would be to use Edit Area (All Floors) and the Transform Replicate tool to move your design back to 0,0. Here is a Knowledge Base article that outlines this process: https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00107/troubleshooting-why-materials-appear-to-flicker-when-a-camera-view-is-rotated.html Additionally you may have objects that are far away from the rest of your model, which can also cause strange issues like the ones you're seeing. This Knowledge Base article will outline how to find far away objects and move them back: https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00021/troubleshooting-small-or-blank-camera-overviews.html If neither of these seem to resolve the issue I would recommend contacting Technical Support through the Technical Support Center: https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00717/using-the-technical-support-center.html I hope this helps! BackCountry
Tyler, I moved the drawing to the 0 / 0 coordinates and the issue is still present.

If you use the Edit area tool and select everything that's visible with a large marquee selection and then use copy paste and paste this into a brand new empty plan Are the issues still there? BackCountry
Renerabbitt, Copied to new plan as suggested, at first there were no weird glitches, but it had roof planes all over the place so I manually deleted the roof planes for now and the glitch lines are back.
