DH7777
I need help transforming my shed roof into a sleigh roof. I drew a black line to indicate how I want it to look. I have tried using the "curve roof" section in the "roof plane specifications" by adjusting the settings, but I end up with either an extreme curve in the middle or no significant change. Even slight adjustments, whether positive or negative, cause chaotic results. I also attempted the two-roof plan method and explored the wall specifications dialog box, roof pitch options, and upper pitch settings, but these adjustments had no effect. To get closer to my desired shape, I added several roof plans with gradually changing pitches and connected them. While this method brought me the closest results, it turned out to be a nightmare, and ultimately the outcome looked messy. If this is the intended way to create a sleigh roof, then the software needs improvement, especially considering the cost of this platform. Sleigh roofs are common, and there must be a straightforward way to achieve a smooth, curved transition. I just can’t seem to find it. Please help! The goal is to create a gently sloped roof without altering the fascia or ridge height. I would greatly appreciate any help! Thank you! DH7777
I figured it out! The solution was found in the roof planes specification box—specifically, the curve roof/angle at the eave adjustment. I set it to "0," which gave the roof a curve in the right direction. After that, I made small incremental increases until I achieved the desired result. I had been adjusting this earlier without success, but now it works perfectly!

Do you call out the radius on these roof plane types? I do every time I do them BUT wonder if it is more of a visual thing for the framer and he care less about radius callout?
