Window Label Orientation

Hello Again,

     I installed X18 and hoped the good folks that do the programming would have made Window Labels Orientation set by the user.  But, even though there is a setting for the angle of the labels in the Windows Dialogue panel, changing the label angle doesn't do anything.  I want the Window Labels paralles to the width of the windows.

     Or, am I not using it correctly?

Maybe you know this, but if you are using a Window Schedule you can control the angle of Labels that are using Callouts within the Schedule Specification>Labels tab. Unfortunately, the Shape Angle doesn't have a "relative" setting, so it's almost a useless.

With X18, you can now have schedule callouts automatically align with the orientation of the object label. This option is available on the Label panel of the Schedule Specification dialog.

To enable this behavior, turn on Automatic for the text angle, then enable both Auto Adjust Text Direction and Follow Label.

 

Please note that these options currently work only with certain callout shapes. If you find that the settings are grayed out, it is a known limitation. This issue has already been reported to our developers for review.
