It’s been tough: maybe someone can offer some tips… 1. is there a way to automatically create elevations for EVERY room, where it also neatly exports them into a layout sheet? - if so, what layer do I do this in - is there a way to specify labels so my contractors see the labels and coordinating labels in the layout sheet? - what plan set / elevation sets do you find to be the most “clean” and easy re: the look vs what I have referenced below? 2. I have spent hours and hours on this entryway. I just cannot find a solution ie walls aren’t connecting because there are so many doors and windows and it is a furred wall that like goes in layers, nothing is working. Any advice on how to build? Note the plan vs elevation… - lastly, I want to drop the ceiling and incorporate an inset dome. DBCooper Posted June 17 Share Posted June 17 For the dome, I would just create it as a symbol that cuts a hole in the ceiling. I built this one using a 3D sphere, made a smaller copy and then subtracted it out of the bigger one, and then cut it in half by subtracting a larger box. You then convert it into a symbol and set it to be from the ceiling. I used the tool to edit the cutout shape in plan view and used the fillet tool to make the cutout match the circle.
