SC_drafting
I'm hoping this is something simple that I'm overlooking- I made a new plan view to show a foundation plan, and I want to dimension it. I made a new default set, and assigned it to the saved view. Whenever I try to dimension something, though, it tells me that the layer with framing dimensions isn't displayed, and asks if I want to turn it on. It doesn't seem to understand that I'm trying to create the dimension lines in a new set, on a new layer, not the framing dimension layer. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you! Gawdzira
You need to adjust the saved view defaults You might want to make a new set a defaults for this plan view. For something like the foundation plan, that could need unique sets but might be able to just use the same one for the floor plan? For the foundation plan, I am often using that with the same defaults as the framing plan so that might be what you are experiencing with how that saved view is set up.
SC_drafting
It looks like I have that configured correctly, which is why I'm confused-
Solution Gawdzira Posted Tuesday at 10:19 PM Solution Share Posted Tuesday at 10:19 PM If you open up the Foundation Dimension Defaults, are they are on the Framing Dimensions layer?
