After researching how to create a gate in a deck railing so that it matches, I've created a short section of railing and converted the symbol to a door and added it to my library. In the library 3d preview it looks correct. Once I place it into my plan it changes to have a solid panel in the middle of the gate and I cannot figure out how to change this or if I did something wrong in creating it in the first place. See example of gate in the library, and then what it looks like when placed into my railing. Also, when I place it, it doesn't maintain the size I created the gate at, but changes to be 6" wide. I tried creating it again using the advanced settings where I could change sizing and keep the gate 4" up, but that didn't work either... Anyone know what I am missing here? Thank you!!!
