Room label size on layout with different scales

My room labels were too small in 1/8" scale  in layout, so I went to active layer display and found the rooms label layer and modified the text to be larger.  On another page in the layout, I have a copy of the just the kitchen area from same floor plan but converted to 1/2" scale in layout for easier viewing. However, the room label text now is too large. If I change the room label layer to 1/2" scale for the text on that page, the first page changes back to small. What is the easiest way to show room label text in different scales within the same layout? Convert to jpg?

if you are doing the same thing over and over, then you might want to do it by layerset. For instance I show the kitchen layout at 1/2" on a specific layout page, but floor plan at 1/4".

 

You could set your room labels to be by layer, and then use the  save plan views to have a different layer set for each save plan view.  Then for each layer set change the text style
