SAWConstruction
I know the wall placement will move the birds-mouth cut horizontally, but what is the software referencing for the width of the cut? I did not have the software automatically generate the roof framing; I built homes for over 30 years and just don't like how it places some things and it is easy for me to job place what I want and where. I know it isn't based on the wall width; maybe I will just make a rafter end and cut it down to 3.5 and ignore the difference? thanks in advance... evergreen
In general, build framing should correct that, but best to post plan.

The horizontal width of the birds mouth cut is dictated by the width of the main layers in the wall definition.
