Exterior Wall material ghosting into interior view in 3D

So here's my conundrum: In plan the wall ends correctly, but in 3D I can see the exterior siding ghosting through the drywall. How can I keep the siding from wrapping the end like this? I even shows up in the wall dialog...Chasing this down seems like a huge waste of time unless it's something simple. Any help is appreciated.

Use the edit wall layer intersections tool.  Pull the siding back where it intersects the other wall
