Apparently I’m not smart enough to create a helical 3D polyline molding and to prove it I frittered away a couple of hours trying to make it work. Finally I gave up and packed it in for the night. Now I’m not saying that I had a Keith Richards (Satisfaction) moment but when I woke up in the morning I had an idea of how to build a helix out of 3D solids.
