adding a deck without railings

I'm trying to connect a deck with no railings on the front of a simple square cabin, no floor shows up, but if I create a deck with rails it works fine, if i create a deck without rails off to the side it works fine too, anyone want to throw me some ideas on what I might be doing wrong or overlooking, thanks, Tim

Are you using the "straight deck edge" tool to draw your deck?  I think all this does is create a deck rail and mark it as "invisible".  So you could probably just take your deck with rails and make the rails invisible.

yes , the straight edge, and what you describe as marked invisible is what I'm getting, but it works perfect off to the side not connected to the building as a deck without railings.

The only other thing I can think of would be a room definition problem.  If you still can't figure it out, then you might want to post your plan.
