Ringos
I am not sure how to achieve the look of this curved fascia board or beam (vergeboard?) on the small porch roof in the photo. I do not see any settings that would curve that. I wonder if the right way to achieve that in Chief is a 3D solid? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I included an image in chief of the small roof I am trying that on.
CharlesVolz
Since I am a cup of coffee short of starting my CA day: 1. Complete signature. 2. Post plan. 3. Read replies. Or, 1. Search help for Curved Roof Planes. 2. Search help for Boxed Eave [sic]. Later... I thought you were targeting this eaves. Solution JiAngelo Posted December 17, 2025 Solution Share Posted December 17, 2025 Create a 3D gable end solid intersecting a cylinder solid set to intersection at desired radius. Subtract cylinder from gable end arch. Then position as desired.
Ringos
Thank you JiAngelo. While Charles Volz was drinking coffee you got me much closer. Just need to get rid of the siding underneath.
