I'm curious if anyone has successfully found a way to publish material list data inside Chief as a schedule?

Johnny, I am using X12 there may be a different option for X16 and newer, but I did this material list from "area" printed as a CA-PDF, save it to file, then imported it into my plan.  It can be sent to layout, but if it has to be updated for changes, naturally you have to do a new material list, print to PDF, save to file and import into your plan. Maybe this helps.

What information are you looking to publish?

There is the material lists, and there are schedules.

I find the schedules to be much more automated and better suited for your layout templates.

You can get most of the information needed to relay to clients, and contractors through the schedules in my opinion as a contractor.

I use the material lists more for specific ordering like framing, trim where I want to know how many boards to order, etc.

Take a look at the schedules and custom schedule and see if you can get the information you need there first.
