Evolution
I don't remember having this problem before. I usually set all my defaults including dimensions and on previous plans for each layer type I have little to no issue with the dimensions displaying correctly. I closed this plan yesterday and thought all was well. Today, on my working plan layer, I have several issues when I opened the plan but first and foremost are the temporary dimension display as you can see in the snip. I have attempted to reset the default for the temporary dimensions, but they are not changing for some reason. this is what they looked like yesterday: Also, both snips are of the working plan layer. the first is what opened this morning, the second is what I had when I saved and closed the plan yesterday. Everything I had set to display in the working plan yesterday was as I saved it. The first snip is what I had when I opened the saved plan from yesterday. I am not sure how to fix it and get back to what I had yesterday. This is so frustrating.
Radius1
I feel you Bob, I turn off temp dims unless i absolutely need them. I figured out from my previous post that there is no way to have a different temp dim style from your Manual. and if your working with a object that is smaller than your text. its just blots it out with a bunch of garbage. And as far as things changing, It happens every time I restart a project for the day. I have to do a full review to see what this program decided to change overnight. Lots macro attachments. Dimensions all wacky, wall hosted items flipped around, linked items not showing unless i have the layout loaded also... I'm finding that I'm going to start having to do everything brute force. no hosting objects, no temp dims. no macros unless it the room tag. they all are unreliable. Here is what i woke up to today. Very frustrating indeed. its going to get me in trouble if i don't catch it. Last night This morning
