Ed_Orum
My problem is this building has roof planes that will not build on top of the wall plates. The section view shows the height of the wall plates I want the roof to build on. It also shows some stray lines and I have no idea what layer they are on or where they came from. The section view is a screen shot. The plan is zipped and attached. The middle part of the building will be getting a shed roof. The rear wall of the building has a 6'7" plate height. The end part of the building has an 8' plate height. I cannot get the roofs to build on top of either of these walls. The roof planes build on who knows what and are higher than the wall plates. Solution robdyck Posted September 25 Solution Share Posted September 25 If you set the room height and then manually draw a roof plane over the exterior wall, it does build correctly. The rafter meets the top plate exactly how you would expect. You'll also want to reset the walls to the default top height and probably bottom height as well. Ed_Orum
Thanks! I almost got it, the cross section shows the roof correctly now. Any idea on those stray lines in Shed 2?

robdyck
I see them now! Those are cross section lines created by the layers of the tile floor finish for that room, a luxury upgrade for the hens! Simplest is to change the room type to 'Slab'.
