QuickDraw59
Still a newbie. Running Premier X17 on an (apparently) robust PC processing and storage. see pix and plan for example I have standard 4.5" thick walls (1/2"-3.5"-1/2") meeting thicker walls ( 1/2" - multiple 2x4s - 1/2") and I have exposed interior material showing. Also, for uncased archways, I leave a jamb but change to drywall texture, otherwise the internal material "ghosts" through. But I want the baseboard to wrap around. Suggestions, oh wise ones? PitMan71
A couple things. When you make a thicker wall I suggest just doing a stud on both sides with an air space gap between to make the thickness. On the Sheetrock openings remove the jamb in the opening and it should let the base turn the corners. I know this doesn't look "right" in plan view but in 3d it will look nice..... Chief can do most anything you just gotta learn what its nuances are and work around and within them, if that makes sense. Give my suggestions a go and let me know how it works out. I hope this helps.
QuickDraw59
Putting the air gap in the wall made the uncased openings stop ghosting the interior material; they are solid drywall now with the baseboard continuing. Awesome, thank you! I didn't cure the junctions of dissimilar-thickness walls, though. Will have to keep pocking at it. Thank you!

You may have something with a thickness as an interior wall layer, other than just the 1/2" drywall. Otherwise, align your 2 walls properly. Or, of course, you could post the plan... Also, I see four areas where drywall is missing, but I am not sure which ones you are thinking of.
