rcapone
Are there lights for pools? I made a pool, for the walls I used the slab function and modified. I want to get lights on the sides which I figure would be like a recess light but on a wall and not a ceiling. Is there any trick to doing this? This is only needed for 3D purposes. I can just put the light symbol on the electrical plan.

"Open Object" that part in your user catalog. Go to the 3D tab, and rotate this fixture, I believe on the Y axis +90 degrees Then go to the Options and make this floor mounted. (I could never get this to work as wall mounted, even though that is my preferred method) Lastly, go to the 2D Symbol tab, and at the bottom of that page is "Generate Block". This will put the light in the vertical. Place the light on your pool wall, adjust the height A/R. rcapone
Thanks, I have CA 13 so unfortunately I don't have the options you do. But I did an elevation and rotated 90 degrees and it worked. Didn't think about that initially but once I saw what you did I gave it a try. Thanks a mil. Now I just need to understand the light properties lol. Rookie65
I suppose you could even use horizontal cylinders and make the material "light" too
