StephenM
I'm trying to re-create stairs in a stairwell of an 3 story apartment building. Not to sure what the best way to go about this is, as I've tried using U shaped stairs and laying each set of stairs and landing individually, but have had no luck getting all of them to connect. There is a landing between the 2nd and 3rd floor. I've attached a couple photos for reference. I do have a video but it is to large to attach. Michael_Gia
Just draw your stairs individually from landing to landing. Here I just edited the staircase that you had drawn spanning both floors. I opened the dialogue box for the stair. - Uncheck automatic heights - Lock bottom (or top) just make sure you know the height of your landing before hand. - Set to 7 steps and adjust height of riser to fall on landing. When I attempt this, the first long set of stairs to the 2nd floor landing work but then the the railing on the landing stays where the next set of stairs go up to the landing between the 2nd and 3rd floor and 3rd floor landing. Not sure what is causing that as I followed what you had recommended. Edited Wednesday at 11:29 PM by StephenM
Rookie65
The landing and stair run are likely not connected properly. Check the height of the landing and top of stair run dimensions

Even using numbers not true to what site is.
StephenM
Still not sure why the stairs from the second floor to the landing between the 2nd & 3rd floor won't recognize.
