No1ZZTopfan
I did a search but couldn't find an answer to this so if there is one, please direct me to it. With the casement door open, I would like to show a screen (indicated in red) here? I could just add an element with a screen material but I figured by now it would be an option in the settings since most windows of this type usually have a screen to keep out bugs and such. Thanks in advance.
robdyck
You can use a window treatment to serve as a screen. Use any flat panel or make your own symbol with a thin frame!
No1ZZTopfan
Robert, Treatments can only be placed in the inside. Unless you found a way to put them on the outside. What I have done is take a wall cabinet fixture, changed the settings to make it appear like a screen, matching the size of the window's exterior. Used glass as the material on the front panel and screen material on the door panel. Edited Tuesday at 08:01 PM by No1ZZTopfan
robdyck
So you'd like an exterior mounted screen for a casement window? The casement window opens to the interior? That can be done! You'll just need to set a y-axis offset for your exterior mounted screen. Start with something like 3" then examine in section view and adjust the symbol. Then open the window and replace the 'blind'.
