No middle rail?

I want to create a metal picket fence with a top & bottom rail which is fine. But I want another horizontal rail 8" down from the top. Why do I only get the option for a middle rail with no pickets? Am I missing something here?

Hi Gary, all you need to do is create a stacked molding to serve as the top rail. Draw 2 polylines in the correct orientation, select both of them, and add to the library as a stacked molding. Then apply them to the top rail of your railing.

TIP: In the library, you can open the object and assign a separate material to 1 of the moldings. This will give you the ability to assign different materials to them once they are in use.

Thanks for replying. I was looking for a radio button for "middle rail". I know we can build it custom, but this seams to be needed as a option.
