3DDesigner
I'm trying to use the room divider tool to specify different rooms. 1. How can I keep it from "breaking" the railing that it runs into? 2. How do I keep it from messing up a wall corner so the wall board wraps the corner like it is supposed to? PitMan71
I have run into this behavior before. For the life of me I can't recreate it right now no matter what I do. Make sure the wall type is still "room divider." This said, may still not fix your issue. Post your plan if you can. You will need to compress it. Be sure and exit the drawing before compressing. JonathanK
Without looking at the plans, it almost looks like it's attic walls or something inherited from a different floor that is cutting through and breaking or messing with your railings and wall intersections. The room divider works well, and it shouldn't be giving you fits like this.
tundra_dweller
Or possibly a non-invisible wall that is on a wall layer that's turned off. I would start by turning on any wall layers that are currently off in that camera view, or just change the layer set to all-on temporarily. Looks like they are using X17 so the extra newel should be able to be moved or deleted.
3DDesigner
Great answers! Thank you, I haven't run into this before and didn't know if I was to blame or if it was X17. I've done a work-around for now so won't post that plan but I'll look for the trouble then. UPDATE: Just found the reason, I had "partition wall" selected in my wall definitions.
