Brick Soldier/Lintel Offset

When adding a brick soldier above a door or window is there a way to adjust its location so it generates above the exterior top casing instead of being in lieu of it? I like to show the brick moulding around my exterior doors and my soldier above it which is how its actually built.

I ran into a similar situation myself,  I needed to place a soldier course lintel over an arc top window. My solution was to create a custom lintel by drawing a CAD arc which I converted to a distribution path. From there, I selected a keystone which I made from a polyline and placed into my user library which I then selected as my 'Distributed Object' in the Distribution Path DBX.

I converted  that into a symbol and placed it in my plan.
