RBSdrafter Posted yesterday at 08:56 PM Share Posted yesterday at 08:56 PM Does anyone know if their is a way to manually edit webs in the truss detail view. From what I can tell, they do not behave like most poly-line objects(such as adding break points, changing the profile, etc.).
BenPalmer
Yes, unlock the "Framing, Roof Trusses" layer and edit away.

Like in the pictures, every time I extend or cut the web to reach these members, it extends past the border of one or the other. Perhaps I don't understand the behavior of roof truss framing members well enough.
Solution JiAngelo Posted 6 hours ago Solution Share Posted 6 hours ago Hello, I misspoke. I was using that tool to create piggybacks last week. Here's a link to a video of what you need to do using the clip tool. To snap to the compound shape you just need to select both members then trim the desired member to both in one click. The extend tool works similarly. Chief Architect Premier X16 2025-03-25 11-03-08.mp4 The video was too large to upload.
