HCremodel Posted February 25 Share Posted February 25 Any suggestions on how to draw these ceiling details? I was trying to use tray ceilings and it was really working for the outer most details. I was wondering about soffit, but with the angled corners I didn't think that would would very well. I am trying to get the crown molding to work with all of this also, with no success... DBCooper Posted February 25 Share Posted February 25 When the tray ceiling won't work for me, I usually end up just using poly solids and molding polylines. You can sometimes get soffits to work ok by butting the inside corners up against each other. Soffits will usually auto fill into the corners. Soffits also have the advantage of being able to put moldings on them so you don't have to draw them manually. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
