usingchief
Still a real CA newby here..... and I have a dilemma that I can't seem to locate an answer to. So... I scanned a an additional space- a set of rooms that was not in the original scope of work - of a clubhouse ballroom room .... using Canvas... and was sent a CA file of just those spaces. I opened, copied and pasted those elements into the main ballroom CA plan, hoping to be able to "add" it to an existing plan. But the rooms, walls, and such of the scan are 90 degrees to the left. I thought I could just select all and rotate the walls... but no handles to grab. And then I thought I would be able to "group".. make an architectural block... but that's not an option in the menu. What can I do to "group" rotate those walls, doors, windows, etc.? ( attached pic shows the new scan in pink bubble and it needs to rotate 90 to the right. ) Many thanks for advice. Solution robdyck Posted Friday at 07:36 PM Solution Share Posted Friday at 07:36 PM Draw a polyline around those spaces. Single click the polyline, then select Edit>Edit Area>Edit Area Visible...then rotate and then point-to-point move into place. It would be good idea to read up on this function and experiment with the various options.
