Keeping files on solid state drives

I am running out of room on my core drive. I have some of the new USB solid state stuff for the family gaming crew, seems to work well. Has anyone seen any issues with plan and layout files being resident on these drives, or sticks which using CA?   I accident had one plan on OneDrive by accident, and it worked just fine, I think because onedrive keeps a temp copy on the hard drive, maybe... maybe not.

In addition to my internal SSD, I back up my files to iDrive and also to an external hard drive. If you need to create space on your internal drive, take a look at your archive folder, you may have many more archived copies than you really need.

I also backup to gdrive, and a 1TB usb stick. I moved some game filesl to a usb 3.0 ssd, the stuff is voluminous so space is fine. The game files work great with the game stuff like steam.

I am going to get a gaming laptop so I can take CA on the road. I used to do it and move my license via the locker but CA outdated my old laptop. I would copy.files using a stick.

Now I am wondering if I can just use a usb stick and insert it into my workstation or laptop and have a mobile filesystrm. The gaming works so well I have a hard time thinking it won't work just fine.
