first floor walls going to second story roof

Hi, I am having an issue with the first floor walls going to the second floor roof overhang. Even when I create a roof over the room the walls still go up to the second floor roof overhang. How do I prevent this from happening? Thank you

Some 'guesses' based on the PDF you attached.

1. drawing a roof on the lower floor that goes over the offending wall should fix it.  this looks like an 'attic' wall. you mention you did draw a roof over the main floor wall/room (if I understood correctly), however, in my experience, if drawn right, that shouldn't happen
2. worst case, if first option doesn't work, select the offending 'attic' wall and make it invisible

If these don't work, attaching a plan will give you better answers.
