DBearss
I work with other CAD programs depending on project needs. A portion of a previous CA project needs to be revised in an ArchiCAD project. Long story. Anyway I am having no luck opening the 3D dwg model in ArchiCAD. I have tried all the different autocad export versions and several import conversions. However I only get 2d lines on a floor plan view. Am wondering if any others have had similar experience and a possible solution. Option might be a translator to convert to IFC or SKP? MPDesign
Hi David, You mention a 3d dwg export. Are you trying to update a 3d symbol? or You might want to try the export as STL file, this will make a 3d symbol of the plan. Open a 3d view in chief and look under File, Export, Export 3d model (STL) Also which version of chief are you using? HTH, cheers
