Anyone Local to Dallas to help with teaching HD24, pertaining to split level and different ceiling and roof heights

I am in need of help.  I'm a user for 10 years who draws houses as they currently are, then draws a renovation plan with submittals for the city.  The current house is a split level on a sloping foundation, with multiple levels on the inside.  I am self-taught, so I'm sure I could learn a lot.  Would prefer a local person in Dallas.

I'm not in Dallas & I've been using Chief Architect, but maybe this will help in HD ... It really helped me to think of them as two separate houses sharing a wall. Decide which side you want to have the first floor at absolute zero and start with that half of the house. Then build out from there.
