4hotshoez
I am trying to place a decorative dormer on a roof that has no connection to the floor below, but a warning box says there is no room to place it because it is too close to another dormer. It is not. There is plenty of room and I can even place the dormer in a spot where there is less room. Is there a fix or trick for this or is there and easy way to build them manually? CJSpud
Todd: YIKES ... why mess up a perfectly simple roof with a decorative dormer??? Your roofer must come from the area sanitarium! Does your customer "really" want more STUFF on that roof???
4hotshoez
They do. It is from the designing architect. I found 32 gray boxes on the second floor that where all the floating dormers I tried to place. I erased all of them and placed a dormer on the next floor up and it worked better.
