carowe
I am working on a historical house and am recreating trim and moldings to match the original. The windows have a piece of cove underneath the sill and I had no problem creating it but when I set that window as default, the cove is not part of a new window. Is there a way to do this so that I don't have to go through all 3 floors and add it to each window? (see attached pic)windows.pdf
Rpadge
Did you make the cove trim as part of the sill (in the dbx?) or just dd it as a moulding using the build trim tool? I think for it to work as the default you need to use the sill option in the dbx. As an alternative, I think you could add the window to your library with all the trim on it like you are doing. Solution JLU_Design Posted June 14, 2023 Solution Share Posted June 14, 2023 Create a custom sill: Save that window as default:
carowe
@JLU_Design is the sill you used in the catalogs or did you create a custom one?
JLU_Design
Just now, carowe said: @JLU_Design is the sill you used in the catalogs or did you create a custom one? It was custom. Have you created custom moldings?Molding Sill 2.calibz That probably isn't the correct dimensions but you can use the concept to make something dimensionally correct.
