My Room schedule shows my floor materials with the words felt paper after the material name.

It's never done this before. The material names themself are correct and there is no mention of the words " felt paper" anywhere. Except my room schedule has generated with the material name, ex: white tile, and then the words felt paper after it. How do I stop it from adding the extra words in?

The Room Finish schedule is going to list all Finish layers, so if it says "White Tile, Felt Paper", that means that there's a second layer in your room's Floor Finish Definition.

 

Locate the room(s) that have Felt Paper listed, open em up and look at the Structure panel, Floor Finish - Edit and delete the Felt Paper layer.

Unless Floor Finish has Default checked - then just change your Floor Defaults or Floor Platform defaults.
